What is the name of this mens' haircut?
It's kind of an old fashioned cut, I guess. The hair shaved close to the head in all places but a patch on the top, towards the side, which is kept long and hangs down in front of the face, it's cut diagonally, up towards the head.
I couldn't find any good pictures of it, since I don't know the name, just a few blurry shots of a person with it from a movie clip on YouTube (the movie was Dances With Wolves, one of the soldiers that comes to get him has it), but I drew what it looks like along with them.

How do you order a mens haircut?
So i'm 15 and i'm going for a haircut in like 30 mins. I've always had long hair and my neighbor always did my hair when it was long. But now i am going to get a short haircut at a supercuts or something and i dont really know what to ask for. I know that I want a no. 2 or 3 on the sides( i think, of course I have no clue really how long a 2 or a 3 is) and just what ever fits on the top. But how do I ask for that, I've gotten short haircuts way back years ago and I always try to explain my best what I want. Then the barber says, ';well i dont quite understand what you want, but I'll try';. Then I end up with something horrible.

Where can I get a mens haircut in Central Manchester for less than 拢10?
All I want is an old-fashioned barber - preferably with a stripey pole outside his shop - to run a set of clippers over my gradually receding hairline, like a mower over a little lawn. It won't take him 10 minutes, and I don't normally pay more than 拢6. But the only places I seem to be able to find are places trying to style my hair and charge me at least 拢15 for the privilege. I long ago gave up any ambition to have a hairstyle; the best I can hope for from a haircut is shorter hair. I'm a stylist and have been for years. there is no need for a long dragged out answer, to the point. the only thing shorter then a one is called a no guard or skin. and it really is skin I don't recommend it if you want to see hair. lots of times stylist push the lever up on the Clippers which means she could have used a one guard but when the lever is pushed up it's actually makes it a one in a half. be specific in saying that you want a one guard lever down. that may help. you don't need a pic. look at your face after you shave it. it'll look exactly the same. you don't use a guard on that, same difference

This probably isn't what you were hoping to hear, but I'd get a haircut if I were you. Cut it to no longer than shoulder length at the most. I don't know about other girls but when I see a guy with long hair I'm a little turned off....I always worry it might be dirty. As a girl with long hair myself I know how much work is involved in keeping it clean and healthy, and as a rule guys don't like to put that much work into stuff!

keep it a little longer on the top and shape up the sides and back..get some gel or pomade and rub it in both hands and work it through the top. Messy is good, very stylish not too ';fixed.'; good luck!

Mens Haircut?
I am not good at these kinda things. I have really Long (down to my eyes) Thin hair. what is a good hairstyle i should get?Mens Haircut?

If you want to keep it a bit longer I would suggest layers and a bit of texturizing. Short and sleek look may make you look really thin almost sick.

Sometimes them guys really know what they are doing and even though it is scary to tell someone to do what THEY want with your hair.. they won't do a bad job because they want you to come back again and they want you to tell your friends how good they did.

I assume you have your hair done short with clippers. Generally natural looks better particularly as it grows out. Just get your hairdresser to get rid of all the little hairs that grow on the back of the neck below the main hair growth.
This can be a problem if your natural hair growth comes down in two uneven spikes. I usually have a look after going to the hairdresser with a fixed (bathroom) mirror and a hand held mirror if it looks a bit uneven them you can shave it with your normal razor - just wet it - you do not need shaving cream because your hair is thinner than your face bristles.
If your hair is not that short I guesse a squared but with the corners rounded is best - if you try anything more elaborate it can start to look pretentious - but it depends what your personal style is. In general keep it looking natural. Its worth looking around for a cheap hairdresser - I have one locally who charges 拢 8 for any cut then you can have it cut more frequently.

I get my hair cut to look nice about every 5 weeks. I have lived in NYC for just pver a year now so i have had about 10 haircuts. It seems the best are at Japanese salons but they are mad expensive (I blow $50 for a 10 minute cut - my hair is short). I tired the $15 dollar super cut places but they don't listen because they are Russian Immigrants or don't care. They make my hair all lopsided and too short (almost all buzzed off). Grooming any of the short pomp styles- crew cut, ivy league, flat top crew cut- is basically the same and takes about a minute or two.
1) Towel dry hair.
2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.
3)Transfer wax to palms.
4) Smooth palms over hair.
5)Brush hair off forehead to form short pomp front.
Whichever style you decide on, be sure to take a photo to help describe the desired haircut to the barber or stylist.

Grooming any of the short pomp styles- crew cut, ivy league, flat top crew cut- is basically the same and takes about a minute or two.
1) Towel dry hair.
2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.
3)Transfer wax to palms.
4) Smooth palms over hair.
5)Brush hair off forehead to form short pomp front.
Whichever style you decide on, be sure to take a photo to help describe the desired haircut to the barber or stylist.

They do it by different blades in the shaver.A fade is just a term for how the cut is,usually the length of it.
This is very old-fashioned. I go to a barber for my cut...and I'm female...I ask for a modified shade...and he gives me the right stuff every four months!

it depends on what type of hairstyle you want, if you want a regular hc short and neat go to a barber,if your looking for a styling you might be better off at a salon, if your going to go to a unisex type of salon or a barber, ask whoever cuts it how to take care of it
I wouldn't say it was better, as Barbers and Stylists both learn how to cut mens hair...BUT Barbers most likely focus more on Men's cuts in School..BUT a Stylist may do a better job at it then some barbers, or Vice Versa...Pick one, and if you like the hair cut you get, Stay with that one..(Or just do both, and whichever one you like, Go to that one.)

help me ladies, what sort of hair cut do u recomend. mines quite long now cause ive been growing it so i could do sumthing funky with it. what sort do u like and what do u think i should get. i want a weird,funky ruff cut style but cant seem to fiond any good pics on line, so if u have a web sites, pics or ideas let me no. This probably isn't what you were hoping to hear, but I'd get a haircut if I were you. Cut it to no longer than shoulder length at the most. I don't know about other girls but when I see a guy with long hair I'm a little turned off....I always worry it might be dirty. As a girl with long hair myself I know how much work is involved in keeping it clean and healthy, and as a rule guys don't like to put that much work into stuff!
Girls are impressed by guys who look clean and neat, like they care about their appearance, more so than guys who just look like they wanted to get some attention on themselves by doing something weird with their look.Mens haircuts????
I would suggest one of these.
Especially the 11th man in black and white second in from the end in the second row!!

How about the cut you have on your avator? Thats pretty funky.
How funky do you want.If you`re the city slicker type who also wants funky casual,rough or sleek when you like,then you should get the Ceasar if you can carry it off.I think it`s hot!
